Tae Kwon Do is a Korean Martial Art, which focuses on hand and foot techniques that neutralize attacks and provide a means of protecting both yourself and your loved ones.  The practice and employment of these techniques is governed by the Five Tenets: Courtesy, Integrity, Self-Control, Perseverance and Indomitable Spirit. The program is “Family Style” meaning that it is open to males and females, children and adults, from 6 years old and up. New students are accepted continuously. This briefing is required for all military who are separating or retiring and is a prerequisite for attending Transition GPS. Attend pre-separation counseling 120 days before your last day on active duty. You will complete a DD-2648 at this briefing.

Fitness activities encourage youth to get out and have fun in the sun. Cooking teaches youth how to make healthy meals that can be shared at home. Join us today to learn and use skills in healthy eating, mathematics, language, and much more.

Join the CC as we host a private class at The Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach on Wednesday, May 23rd at 9:30am for kids ages 5 and under.

Animal Exploration | PreK
Get your hands wet in this 30-minute, educator-led animal touch experience. After a brief introduction, students will explore the unique characteristics of our classroom tidepool animals and even have a chance to touch them.
*After the class you will be free to explore the aquarium at your leisure for the rest of the day.
