Group Pre-Separation Briefing

This briefing is required for all military who are separating or retiring and is a prerequisite for attending Transition GPS. Attend pre-separation counseling 120 days before your last day on active duty. You will complete a DD-2648 at this briefing.

Youth will have to opportunity to explore Fine Arts, Fitness, and Cooking on a rotating basis. Youth use various mediums to create one of a kind art creations and are encouraged to work toward entering their work into the Air Force Fine Arts competitions and exhibits. Fitness activities encourage youth to get out and have fun in the sun. Cooking teaches youth how to make healthy meals that can be shared at home. Join us today to learn and use skills in healthy eating, mathematics, language, and much more.

Wilson’s Tae Kwon Do Academy (Ages 6 and older)

Tae Kwon Do is a Korean Martial Art, which focuses on hand and foot techniques that neutralize attacks and provide a means of protecting both yourself and your loved ones.  The practice and employment of these techniques is governed by the Five Tenets: Courtesy, Integrity, Self-Control, Perseverance and Indomitable Spirit. The program is “Family Style” meaning that it is open to males and females, children and adults, from 6 years old and up. New students are accepted continuously. This program encourages artistic expression among club members through drawing, painting, collage, mixed media and sculpture.  Youth create one of a kind art creations and are encouraged to work toward entering their work into the BGCA and Air Force Fine Arts competitions and exhibits.

South Bay Lounge Open in El Segundo

The South Bay Lounge is open every Thursday and Friday!

The South Bay Lounge in El Segundo offers the Los Angeles AFB community a convenient, informal location for Commanders, Command Chief Master Sergeants, First Sergeants, supervisors, and other leaders to create an environment that fosters and promotes AF institutional values.

It’s a great location to celebrate a promotion, retirement, or just hang out with co-workers at the end of the long work week. 

The Lounge features a wide variety of domestic beer, local craft beer, and assorted non-alcoholic beverages and offers cocktails, billiards, dancing and more.

Please remember to be safe and use a designated driver.  Ages 21 and over.
